INTERLUDE 53
After six months of slow transformation under ideal conditions at the Amouage House factory in Muscat, Interlude 53 emerges as a profound reinterpretation of the iconic Interlude fragrance. Deeper, wider, longer-lasting, and more intense, this exceptional creation elevates the original to entirely new heights, offering remarkable depth and extended longevity.
Produced in a limited number of bottles, this one-off exclusive fragrance is available in a generous 100ml format.
Interlude 53 is the first men’s Extrait from Amouage. It was conceived as an experiment to explore the limits of extreme concentration combined with extended maturation and maceration, resulting in unparalleled richness and complexity.
Why is it called “53”?
The number 53 refers to the dosage of the extrait—Interlude 53 contains an extraordinary 53% fragrance oils, meaning it holds more pure oils than alcohol. By comparison, the original Interlude Eau de Parfum contains 25% fragrance oils.
Why 53%?
Amouage pushed the formula to the absolute limit. 53% is the maximum concentration permitted by IFRA for this composition, making Interlude 53 the highest-concentration IFRA-compliant fragrance ever created by Amouage.
